Sugar Ice Directions
Poured Sugar Recipe:  1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/8 cup of light corn syrup and 1
tbspoon of water -- note: use a off brand of corn syrup for clearer ice

In a one cup glass measuring cup, combine all ingredients -- Microwave on high for 2.5
minute or to hard crack stage --

WARNING -- MIXTURE is extremely hot and will cause severe burns
Use parchment paper and pour the sugar mixture out and spread to cool
The Sugar will pull away easily from the parchment paper when cool enough to work with -
you want it to be warm enough to handle but not cool enough that you can't cut
You should be able to handle the sugar and it not hold it shape
Cut the sugar in to pieces with scissors
Bend the edges of each piece or mold into little chunks to resemble crushed ice - let dry on
the parchment paper
